This video work, consisting of profile portraits of strangers, was filmed in New York in 2004.

Incidentally, its title echoes the exact words Žiūra used to address passersby: “Can you give me some of your time?” Those who agreed offered a bit of their time – some just a few seconds, others a minute or more. Depending on the amount of time given, these individuals either flicker in our consciousness as ephemeral fragments or emerge as reference points, almost mythic figures, characters whose stories we feel we can decipher.
